What is Graduate Writing Across the Curriculum?
Graduate Writing Across the Curriculum (GWAC) program supports writing activities by graduate students and graduate faculty in most fields of graduate study.
What Can GWAC Do For You?
Our team of writing faculty and eight graduate student fellows support graduate and postdoctoral writing. For graduate students and postdocs we provide the following services:

One-on-one peer consultations with graduate writing fellows

Workshops and writing retreats with graduate writing fellows
For graduate faculty we provide the following services:

One-on-one consultations with instructors of graduate courses

Workshops for groups of instructors and teaching assistants

Who Can Use GWAC Services?
Graduate students who pay the candidacy fee are eligible to use any of the program services. In addition, all Post-docs may use our services. If you are a graduate student in the Graduate School of Management you are also eligible to meet with any of three GSM Fellows.
All graduate faculty are welcome (and encouraged) to consult with our writing faculty consultants.
How is GWAC Funded?
UC Davis's Graduate Writing Across the Curriculum Program is housed within the University Writing Program. GWAC receives funding from the GradPathways Institute and the Graduate School of Management.
