Directions to campus
Conference sessions will be held in Wellman Hall, a 10 minute walk from Thompson Hall in the Segundo Residence Hall complex and a 15 minute walk from the downtown Davis hotels. Parking is also available in the North Entry Parking Structure.
The Thursday workshops and Graduate Research Network (GRN) will be held in the Technocultural Studies Building (a.k.a., the Art Annex) and Olson Hall. The Art Annex and Olson hall are a 10-15 minute walk from downtown. Parking is available in Visitor Lot 5.
The Thursday night Opening Reception and @GetInfo will be held at the Buehler Alumni Center The Alumni Center is a 20 minute walk from downtown. Parking is available in the South Entry Parking Structure.
Parking
Visitor parking is enforced during the summer Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. Daily permits may be purchased in all Visitor Parking lots for $6/day.
Transportation to the Davis area
The closest airport connection is the Sacramento International Airport, located about 15 miles from Davis. There is both bus and airport shuttle service between Davis and the airport. More information is available on the airport's web site.
The Oakland International Airport is about 60 miles from Davis, on the east side of San Francisco Bay. There are bus, train, or airport shuttle connections to Davis from the Oakland airport. Driving time is often less than from San Francisco International, because you do not have to cross over the Bay on one of the bridges, which often have very slow traffic.
The San Francisco International Airport is about 75 miles from Davis. There is bus, train, and airport shuttle service available between Davis and San Francisco. Driving time varies tremendously depending on traffic, but the trip can take as little as 90 minutes or as much as three hours. Additional information is available on the airport's web site.

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) provides train service from San Francisco and Oakland International Airports east to Concord. You can combine travel on BART with travel on the Amtrak Capitol Corridor trains. For information, see the "Airport Connections" page on the Capitol Corridor web site.
